Fred Hughes is a highly experienced litigator focusing his practice on medical malpractice defense, nursing home defense, premises liability and the representation of healthcare professionals before administrative boards. He has devoted more than two decades to defendant healthcare professionals and entities. He has handled all aspects of medical malpractice cases from initial interview through trial, including alternative dispute resolution. Fred also has significant appellate experience, handling numerous appeals. He has lectured in the field of nursing home negligence.
Mr. Hughes, who is a partner in the firm, graduated from UCLA School of Law, in Los Angeles, California, where he was part of the Moot Court Honors Program. After law school, Mr. Hughes clerked for the Honorable Alexander Menza, J.S.C., in the Civil Division of Union County, New Jersey, where he had a hand in writing a published opinion. Mr. Hughes is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and he is also admitted to the US District Courts in New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
